Art has been with the Brentwood Choral Society since 2019. He is a composer, singer, multi-instrumentalist and actor who graduated from the Royal College of Music’s composition faculty and is now working as Assistant Music Director at Brentwood Cathedral as well as the Musical Director of Brentwood Choral Society. Apart from composing classical music, Art has written several pop songs and sung and played pop/rock music. He has also acted in several dramatic productions in Thailand and the UK. He is also a music teacher and liturgical youth music co-ordinator for the Diocese of Brentwood.
ACCOMPANIST: DOMINIC BENTHAM
Dominic Bentham (DipABRSM) is a pianist based in South East London, currently in his final year studying for a BMus(Hons) in piano performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in Greenwich.
As well as playing for several choirs and choral societies, Dominic specialises in vocal accompaniment, receiving tuition from acclaimed pianists including Helen Yorke and Dylan Perez.
Dominic is a keen improviser under the guidance of his teacher, Canadian pianist Douglas Finch, and often performs improvised pieces as part of college events such as Trinity Laban’s ‘New Lights’ contemporary music festival.
